APSC Recruitment 2024
Assam Public Service Commission was established on 1 April 1937 and it is responsible for selecting suitable candidates with the requisite skills, educational qualifications and motivation to serve the people of Assam for the assigned designation as ACS officer. APSC holds exams for various posts over the years, Candidates who want to become ACS officers can apply here for various APSC exams.

Total Vacancy: 17 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must be HS passed from a recognised board/council university.
Computer Knowledge: Applicants are required to have a good understanding of office productivity software tools including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, database content, internet usage, and email. Additionally, candidates should hold a minimum six-month diploma or certificate in computer proficiency from a recognized institution in Assam approved by the Government of Assam. The qualification should be continuous without any breaks and applicants must have computing knowledge in both Assamese and English languages.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and should not be more than 38 years as of 1st January 2023. also, age relaxation applies as per govt norms.

Employment Exchange: Candidates must have an Employment Exchange registration from any district of Assam
Nationality: Any Indian Citizen is eligible to apply for APSC Exam
Language Proficiency: The Candidate should be proficient in the Assamese language or any other language of Assam.
Residence: The candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
