Eligibility Criteria for Gauhati University PG Admission 2025
The eligibility criteria for PG Course admission at Gauhati University is such that the candidates should have secured a graduation degree from a recognized college/university.
MA and M.Sc Courses
- BA/B.Sc under the 10+2+3 pattern with major. Honours in the concerned subject.
- B.Com with at least 40% marks(or equivalent CGPA) in aggregate in the General Course in the pattern of 10+2+3.
- 45% marks will be calculated in the way that marks gained in Part 1 and 2 for courses in the 2+1 pattern and on the basis of marks obtained in Part 1,2,3, if under the 1+1+1 pattern.
M.Com Courses
- B.Com in the 10+2+3 pattern with Major course.
- B.Sc/BA in the 10+2+3 with General/Pass Course subjects with at least 45% marks(or equivalent CGPA) in the concerned subject.
