CTET Exam 2023

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 July Exam is a national-level examination conducted to certify the eligibility of candidates to be appointed as teachers at the Primary and Upper Primary levels. It is conducted twice a year, in July and December. CBSE CTET 2023 July Exam will be held soon.

CTET 2023 Exam is divided into two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The candidates need to take Paper 1, who are aspiring to become a teacher of classes 1-5. The candidates who want to become a teacher of classes 6-8, have to take Paper 2. To become a teacher of classes 1-8, the candidates will have to appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Eligibility Criteria of the CBSE CTET Exam

Eligibility for Paper 1

HS with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- a year D.El.Ed
HS with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year D.El.Ed, in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
HS with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
HS with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education.
Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Eligibility for Paper 2

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations
HS with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
HS with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
