BTAD/BTR/BTC TET Recruitment 2024
Education Department, Government of BTR is recruiting Graduate Teachers (GT) and Post Graduate (PGT) teachers. The most awaited time has come for the aspirants of BTR because from 2003 to 2023 BTR recruited teachers by conducting BTAD TET only once. This will be a very big opportunity for the residents of BTR who are having D.El.Ed or B.Ed degree. We will be providing all the procedures and necessary information for the online application of BTR TET recruitment 2024.

Name of Exam: BTR TET Cum Recruitment Test 2024
Name of the Department: Department of Education, BTR
1. Name of Post: Graduate Teacher (GT)
No of Posts: 1472 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- (Pay Band – 2) plus Grade Pay Rs 8,700 and other allowances as admissible
Age Limit: the age should be 18 to 40 years as of 01 January 2023, also age relaxation applies as mentioned below.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate or Post Graduate from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution(s)
2. Name of Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
No of Posts: 141 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 97,000/- (Pay Band – 2) plus Grade Pay Rs. 11,800 and other allowances as admissible
Age Limit: the age should be 21 to 38 years as of 01 January 2023, also age relaxation applies as mentioned below.
Educational Qualification: The Candidates must be a Post Graduate in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized University and should possess a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification from an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Other Required Qualification: Candidates must have Assam TET/BTC TET or Central TET
Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxations are given below.

| Whatever medium of your School, you must have that subject in HSLC. |

| In compliance with the Supreme Court’s directive, the qualification of an 18-month Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) obtained from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is no longer recognized as a valid qualification for new teacher recruitments. This modification has been officially endorsed by the Government in the Department of School Education, as outlined in eFile No. 383723 dated January 1, 2023 |
