Assam TET Syllabus 2024

Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission has released a TET Syllabus for the Lower Primary & Upper Primary TET Exam. Candidates who want to prepare for the Assam TET Exam should go through this syllabus. Candidates will get the official Assam TET syllabus and Exam Pattern as per NCTE guidelines here. The syllabus of Paper 1 which is for Lower Primary and Paper 2 which is for Upper Primary has subjects such as Maths, Science, Social Studies and Environmental Studies, Child Development & Pedagogy and Language subjects (Assamese, Bangla, Alt English, Bodo etc.) Additionally, we will provide all the necessary information regarding Assam TET Syllabus and Exam Pattern on this page.

Assam TET Exam Details

Name of Exam: Teacher Eligibility TET Exam, Assam 6th Schedule Special TET, BTR TET, Bodoland TET

Name of the Authority: Sarba Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) Assam

Name of Papers: 2 Papers, Paper 1 LP & Paper 2 UP

Mode of Exam: OMR-Based Offline Exam

Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Question

No of Questions: 150 Questions in each paper

Total Mark: 150 Marks on each paper

Duration of Exam: 2 1/2 Hours for each paper

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking

Minimum Qualifying Mark / Pass Mark

The minimum qualifying mark or pass mark for Assam TET is 60% which is 90 marks out of 150 marks. However, a 5% relaxation is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories.

TET Syllabus & Exam Pattern

We have provided the TET Assam Exam Syllabus & Exam Pattern for both paper 1 and paper 2. Candidates appearing in one paper need to follow the syllabus of the applied paper only. Candidates appearing in both papers must follow both paper 1 & paper 2.
