Bodoland University Admission 2024
Every year Bodoland University conducts an entrance examination for the admission process to the PG level. Bodoland University offers MA, M.Sc, MCA and MBA courses at the PG level. The application process for Bodoland University Entrance Examination 2024, for the PG level, will be started in the month of April 2024 and will be ended in the month of May 2024.
Aspiring candidates will be able to apply through both online and offline modes for the entrance examination. The application process online mode will be available on the official website www.buniv.edu.in. although students will get notifications from here, so it is advised to check this page regularly for future notifications.

Eligibility Criteria of BU PG Admission
Candidates who have completed their graduation from a relevant stream are recognised as eligible for PG courses.
I. ELIGIBILITY FOR M.A. / M.Sc. / M.Com. (a) B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. (10+2+3 pattern) with a Major / Honours course in the concerned subject with 50% marks. ( ST/SC 45%) |
II. ELIGIBILITY FOR M.Sc. COMPUTER SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (a) B.Sc. (10+2+3 pattern) with Major / Honours course in the concerned subject. (b) B.C.A / B.Sc. (IT) (10+2+3 pattern) with Mathematical Science in 10+2 level. (c) B.Sc. (in the 10+2+3 pattern) with Computer Science / Information Technology as a pass course / elective subject. (d) B.Sc. (10+2+3 pattern) with General Pass course with one-year Computer Diploma (Post-Graduate) from a recognized institute and Mathematical Sciences in (10+2) 1evel. (e) B.E. / B.Tech. (CSE or IT) |
III. ELIGIBILITY FOR M.Sc. BIOTECHNOLOGY (a) Science Graduate having Honours in any of the Biological Sciences with 50% marks or equivalent Grade. (b) Pass course students with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade having at least one biological subject in their course combination. (c) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. |
IV. ELIGIBILITY FOR DBT (DIPLOMA IN BAMBOO TECHNOLOGY) H.S. passed (any stream). |
V. ELIGIBILITY FOR M.B.A. (a) A Bachelor Degree of 10+2+3 pattern with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate or in Major/Honours subject (if any) from any recognized University. (b) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not be applicable to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. |
VI. ELIGIBILITY FOR M.C.A. (a) A Bachelor‟s degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with at 6 At least 50% marks in major /Honours subject or 55% marks in aggregate for those candidates having no major/honours. (b) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. (c) Candidates must have passed Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or graduation level. |
VII. ELIGIBILITY FOR PGDHRE (a) Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade. (b) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. |
VIII. ELIGIBILITY FOR B.Ed. (a) Graduate or equivalent from any recognized university with at least a 50% mark in aggregate. (b) In the case of an applicant who failed to secure 50% in the UG course, then the candidate must have secured 55% in the PG course. (c) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC / ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. (d) Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit a study leave certificate / No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application. |
IX. ELIGIBILITY FOR M.Ed. (a) B.Ed. / B.T. of Bodoland University or any other university recognised by this university with at least 55% marks in aggregate as per latest NCTE norms. (b) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC / ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. (c) Teachers deputed by the Govt. of Assam for the course must submit a study leave certificate / No Objection Certificate from their concerned employers along with the application. |
X. CERTIFICATE COURSE IN BODO (a) Graduate in any discipline with 45% marks or equivalent grade. (b) Relaxation of Marks: Candidates for the reserved quota (SC/ST) shall be given relaxation up to 5% of the marks. The relaxation will not apply to candidates seeking admission in any other reserved quota. |
XI. ELIGIBILITY FOR PhD. Admission to the PhD. The programme shall be made preferably at the beginning of the academic year. Any person with at least 55% marks or equivalent Grade (50%-mark equivalent Grade in case of SC/ST candidates) in a Master’s Degree of any University / Institution recognized by the UGC (Recognised Statutory Body for Foreign Students) in concerned and allied subjects. All candidates shall have to appear in the admission test followed by a personal interview conducted by the concerned Department. |
