Bank of Baroda, one of India’s largest public sector banks, has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment as Local Bank Officers (LBO) on a regular basis. The selected candidates will be posted in the state for which they have applied. This recruitment aims to strengthen the bank’s local presence and customer service.
Bank of Baroda is accepting online applications for 2500 posts across various states. Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria may submit their online application from 4th July 2025.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute. Professional qualifications like CA, Cost Accountant, Engineering, or Medical are also eligible.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank. Experience in NBFCs, cooperative banks, etc., will not be considered.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be between 21 and 30 years as of 1st July 2025. Age relaxation applies as per government norms.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern for BoB LBO
The selection process will include an online test with the following structure. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for General/EWS and 35% for reserved categories.
