Indian Agnipath Agniveer Recruitment 2024

Ministry of Defence introduced a new scheme for the recruitment of the Indian Army, Navy, and Indian Air Force. The Agneepath scheme is launched on 14th June 2024.

The dreamers who dream of the joining Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force, can join through the Agnipath scheme as an Agniveer. The selected candidate will serve for a duration of 4 years including a training period of 6 months and a duty of 3.5 years. After completion of 4 years 25% of candidates will be selected for the permanent post, Those who don’t get selected they will be paid of one-time Seva Nidhi package of Rs 10.04 lakhs plus accrued interest.

Indian Army -Agniveer Recruitment

1. Agniveer (General Duty)
Education Qualification: 10th passed with 45% marks and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 ½ – 23 Years

2. Agniveer (Technical)
Education Qualification: 12th passed with 50% marks in the Science stream with PCM & English, and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 ½ – 23 Years

3. Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical)
Education Qualification: 12th passed with 60% marks having English and Maths/Accounts/Book, and 50% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 ½ – 23 Years

4. Agniveer (8th pass Tradesmen)
Education Qualification: 8th passed having 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 ½ – 23 Years

5. Agniveer (10th pass Tradesmen)
Education Qualification: 10th passed having 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 ½ – 23 Years

Age Limit

The candidate’s age should not be less than 17 years 6 months and not more than 23 years.

Age Relaxation

The one-time upper age limit has been increased from 21 years to 23 years for the recruitment year 2022-23. this age relaxation will be valid for 2022 only

Name of the batch: Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2022

Age Limit: Candidates born between 29th December 1999 and 29th June 2005 (both days inclusive), then the upper age limit as of the date of enrollment is 23 years.

Educational Qualification:

(a) Science Subjects
Candidates should have passed 12th examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Education Board listed as COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Three years of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) from a Government Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Diploma Course).
OR
Passed Two years of Vocational Courses with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Maths from State Education Boards/Councils are listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).

(b) Other Than Science Subjects
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any subject approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed two years of vocational course from Education Boards listed as COBSE members with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English, in the vocational course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course.

Agniveers of the Indian Army, Navy and Indian Air Force will get the same salary with increments every year for 4 years, below we have given the table
